Complete refurbishment of a badly deteriorated three-bedroom (T3) apartment in Campolide. An enlarged living room, full replacement of building services and a family-oriented interior redesign.
About the project
Found in a state of deep neglect, this 1940s apartment hid enormous potential: a clever layout and high-quality original materials such as fine hardwoods and encaustic cement tiles.
The project adapted the space to contemporary living, turning the T3+1 layout into a spacious, free-flowing two-bedroom home. Removing partition walls enlarged the living room and created a practical dining area. We also redesigned the bathrooms, creating a master bedroom with an en-suite and a second bathroom serving guests and the second bedroom.
We restored the iconic fireplace and the original floors, and added details such as a bespoke glass-fronted cabinet designed in the style of the period. The result is a contemporary home where modern comfort goes hand in hand with refinement and a "vintage spirit".
